Hooks are guaranteed by the DOHIKU company to be the original hook designs. Many companies what sell barbless hooks buy their hooks from catalogue and then rebranded them. That is not the DOHIKU way. DOHIKU hooks are original! What sets DOHIKU hooks apart from the rest is that they have been exclusive designed by DOHIKU experts in Slovakia, tested by top fishermen. Of course also by normal fishermen. And then they are manufactured by DOHIKU selected globally famous factories. DOHIKU hooks are made from a high carbon steel, which is hardened and tempered according to an exacting formula that makes a long life for them. Of course, they are chemically sharpened. DOHIKU are genuine customized hooks – not repacking or rebranded hooks.

In 2009 Milan Styk, a friend of the original partners, joined DOHIKU company to ensure the high quality of these unique hooks. Dohiku HDD 301 Dry Flies Series

The shape of this hook is ideal for most dry patterns, also for gold head flies. DOHIKU hooks are made from a high carbon steel, which is hardened and tempered according to an exacting formula that makes a long life for them. Of course, they are chemically sharpened.

Dohiku – Nymph HDN 302, Wet Flies

HDN 302 series is a classic hook, its shape is ideal for tying early season lures. Its shape is also ideal for caddis/sedge larva and pupa.

DOHIKU HDC 303, Versatile Flies

This hook is the special fly hook with shorter shank and a little bit wider gap. We called it ” beetle hook ” and  recommend it for terrestrial insect, nymphs and smaller bugs. We do not recommend them for flies types of streamers, blobs and boobies.

DOHIKU HDA 254, Pupa Fly Pattern

The model HDA 254 hooks are special recommended for the Midge Larva and Midge Pupa, Pupa caddis/sedge.

DOHIKU HDG 644 – Gammarus, Pupa

Modelled on classic nymphing hooks, the design of the hook bend and point ensures excellent penetration and hook hold in fast and turbulent water.

DOHIKU HDG 611 – Gammarus, Pupa

The DOHIKU G 611 fly hooks are recommended for caddis/sedge and scud/grub patterns.
Classic Czech nymph hook. You may also want to consider the DOHIKU HDG 644 which has a newer design and bent in point.

HDG 645 is an excellent fly fishing hook for tying larvae and pupae of midges and caddis. We also recommend it for the Czech nymphs.Try to tie small lures on this hooks !
